Sno'more

This is a snow update from last evening -- still it falls, not the fast type of accumulation but the slow type. No school and my children are elated.
However, it puts a damper on us since we scheduled to wrap all the presents today while they were in school. Guess we do that tomorrow, hopefully there will be school.

I had to cancel an appointment because we were snowed in and the plows did not come around till 11:30 am.
Why do they forget the "farm people"? LOL -- we don't have a farm but that is dh's fantasy since he has a tractor to take care of the land. We just live in a remote area.
He loved that movie "The Egg and I" and wanted to have a chicken farm because he thought that that was something I would like. See, a fantasy indeed.

Anyways what is on the agenda today since we are snowed in?

Right now I am listening to a two cd disc called "Now That's What I Call Christmas" I got a month ago.
Eighteen songs from modern times and eighteen classic songs.
My picks: B2K's "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town", Wham's "Last Christmas" and my current favorite tune The Waitresses "Christmas Wrapping".

The tree is finally all decorated.

I am actually going to write some letters. You know, paper, pen, envelope and a stamp!

I will be baking some chocolate chip banana bread which my son is begging for.

Naturally I will have to tune into The Young and Restless and see what's going on in Genoa City, WI.

And, I have been surfing blogs and reading up on everyone's life and pursuits so my POW entry is coming up.
