My neighbor made this and it was delicious as well as addicting!
It is so easy to make.
While the crust is baking and cooling, just mix up ingredients and cut up the veggies.
2 packages of refrigerated Cresent Rolls (Pillsbury) for the base "crust".
Unroll, and lay out pinching the seams together in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Bake for 12 minutes on 375. Let it cool for about 15 minutes.
Combine together in a bowl:
2 packages of softened Cream Cheese (Philadephia Brand or store brand)
1 cup of Cain's or Hellman's mayonaise (store brand ok)
1 dry package of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing
After the crust has been baked and cooled, smear the cream cheese/mayo/dressing mix on top of the crust.
Add one cup of each of the following freshly chopped vegetables on the top: green peppers (or a combo of various colored peppers), broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, carrots (can use baby baby carrots, the tiny skinny ones, or just shred a carrot in the food processor for texture.)
Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top.
Refrigerate for an hour before serving.
Great for an appetizer or pot luck.
