Pokemon

Yesterday was a big day in the world of Pokemon Fanatics -- The Diamond and Pearl games came out.

My daughter was out the door early AM (7:30 am) to pick up her reserved copy. My son went along for the ride. We live in the sticks, the store was 30-40 minutes away.

My husband took them (kids did not want me to come, I will post why later) and after the pick up (no line), he went to Home Depot to get some "stuff". When they got home several hours later, the kids complained he spent too much time in Home Depot, more than an hour. It was torture for them even though my daughter had her game and was playing it.

I stayed home and had some peace and quiet. Got things done without interuption.
Wish there were more times like that.
