Vanishing Bonuses

I ran across this article and thought it was most interesting and how times have changed.

One lady did not get her typical bonus, quit her job and started a new business.

I would like to work for her, she sent her employees to Italy as a bonus.
Oprah took her crew and their families to Hawaii one year, maybe I can work for Oprah? It would mean a move though from the frigid North East to the windy city of Chi town.

My Dad gets a turkey. One year my brother got a gift card/certificate to Bugaboo Creek which he generously shared. Sometimes he gets other stuff.
I bet some people get gift cards to Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, or Tim Horton's so they can get their java jolt before they get to work with a buzz and be more productive, maybe.
