Santa's Keys Poems

A quick and easy craft post.
How does Santa get in a home or apartment with no chimney?
He needs some magic keys!

All you need are some old skeleton keys (Home Improvement Store, Hardware store, Yardsale or Thrift shop find) and copy and paste a poem below onto your word program and print on paper.
You cut the paper then attach the paper to a shipping tag or make one tag up yourself.
Attach the tag with festive ribbon or fibers or just a heavy duty key ring to the key/s.
Have the children hang them outside your door for Santa to let himself in.

Dear Santa,
I know I'm too young to speak,
But you know that I'm fast asleep.
So down my chimney you can creep.
And while your here, take a peek.

Dear Santa,
We don’t have a chimney
As you can plainly see
But we still want you to visit,
So just use this magic key!
We don't have a chimney for you to climb through,
But if you don't visit my our house I don't know what I'll do.

Some say you are magic and can use any old key
As long as we hang it out in a place you're sure to see.
So we're leaving this old key right outside our door
Saying our prayers, jumping in bed, and we won't worry anymore.

This key is very special, you see.
It won't work for you or me.

Hang it just outside your door
Then go to bed and worry no more.

Close your eyes and close them tight,
cause Santa Claus is coming tonight!

Today's chimneys are awfully small
and Santa's far from thin,
So leave this key outside the door
To allow Santa to come in!

Dear Santa,
We don’t have a chimney
For you to come in through
And if you miss our house
I don’t know what I’ll do.

Mom says you work magic
And can use just any old key
If we just hang it outside
in a place you’re sure to see.

So I’m placing this old key
Right beside our door
Say my prayers and jump in bed
And I won’t worry any more.
